Analysis of Her Return

Standing in front of me
is a face i know
Her aura, her moonlit eyes that glow
As i waited for years, on her to show

I could not believe my eyes
An emotional rise
A return from hunting the man i despise
All my wishes and cries

I retold my words as i grasped her face
"It really is you my grace"
If i whispered to the wind, would it carry my lips
If i cried out to the moon, would it grant me a glimpse

As she pulled back her hood
It is really her
As i ask and ponder
Where you were

When she spoke
All i heard was a sigh
"How have you been as the days go by?"
I told her the truth, Never would i lie

"I tried to enjoy the days without you"
"But nothing compared to your value"
"I tried new things, it never worked"
"I kept going on to let you know your worth"

The cold midnight wind
My feelings overflow
What should i say?
How should i know?

I received an embrace
"You dont have to be disgraced"
The flowing wind swept me away
Hours before ending my birthday
