Analysis of Existing

I had never thought I would
so greatly enjoy the mundane –
sitting and doing nothing,
no more than a good conversation
existing in the presence of good
company, but it has been revealed
to me, that I do in fact, take great
pleasure in time spent with loved
ones, doing nothing in particular,
but breathing,
existing.
