Analysis of To Be Pretty Like Poetry
If only I was as beautiful as words.
I wish my lips were like rose petals,
My skin like marble.
If only I could make my body move
The way I make words paint.
I wish my shoulders were gentle
And my eyes like pools.
If only my voice could carry
The cadence of my thoughts.
I wish I didn't have a form to be desired.
I wish I could represent my mind with a touch.
If only I was like poetry.
