In the rain I find
The peace I am longing for
But storms never last

About this poem
I wrote this poem at 3am on a particularly rough night. It was the night of a very hot day, and at the time of writing it was about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. All of a sudden the sky opened up and I had the strangest urge to just go sit in the rain. It only lasted about 15 minutes but I returned with more than just soaked clothes.
