Analysis of I forgot
I forgot I used to be a poet
bearing out his soul to unknown people
and now I'm a nobody with no story to tell and no life to linger.
I forgot how I used to be me when all else was crumbling around
I forgot I was somebody I loved
and now I'm just another stranger passing by me on the road.
