Analysis of From Death to Glory

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Shoes and socks won’t protect your feet
When the elements are melting in the heat
But the Lamb can save your very life
And guard your heart from worry and strife

Our God is Love and from His hand
Came to the earth the Son of Man
To find the lost sheep of His flock
To be their strength and song; their Rock

Out of the sky He’ll come again
He’ll raise and gather all His friends
Then off to glory they will fly
He’ll wipe the tears from all their eyes
The End
