Analysis of Waiting

By: Rose Lyn Macapuno

It feels like a year of suffering

Too much heartbreak, my heart is wandering

These memoirs had turned into pain

Just like how my heart gone insane

I feel eternally lonely, waiting

Do I deserve such longing?

My mind tells me to break down

But My heart constantly frowns

Must I take a lot of courage?

For I to be that sage

I wish that I am doing well

Since I tried so hard not to dwell

This terrible Loneliness is killing me to death

Like this colossal weight is drowning me

Why do I feel veritably alone? waiting

The river I have created long ago

Becomes a sea of great scape anew

I am appalled to the great beyond

My soul is empty and nothing is certain

For I feel forsaken, still waiting
