Analysis of My Heart is Hollow

My heart is hollow and it is gut-wrenchingly so,
That I might not be able to carry my own weight anymore
I slump over and think of her;
She, that was so dear to me,
She is now no longer mine, and I've no use in the world.
My heart is hollow, because I loved her
And I was full while she was here, because she gave her love back
But now that she is gone I have no purpose other than sentimental value
Like an article of clothing you'd keep just to say you once could wear it
She took more than her love when we parted
And of course it was not her fault, but it hurts me so
I feel foolish and childish yet empty and solemn
Nothing could replicate what she meant to me.
My heart is hollow, and I'm not sure why
I really don't know who she was, or who she might be
But I spent hours and months of my life loving her
I couldn't stop as easily as I'd like.
She was kind to me when no one else was
Her slight smile would make me absolutely beam
I wish to rip my hair out in chunks just to feel a portion of the emotions I experienced just having her.
It doesn't even matter if it's negative in this fashion.
My heart is hollow, she took what was left and I wish she was still here to tend to it
I cannot repeat enough how useless I am without her.
I never cared about anyone else before, and now there's no reason to care about anything at all.
I pound my head against my kitchen floor in the last hours of evening, stifling my sobs
Knife in hand, ready to blame myself for all
I starve in an attempt to die slowly now
My life will be wasted on mourning losing my pretty girl.
My heart is hollow.
