Analysis of Checkmate

Nothing beats the truth,
Than a truth that is.
Checkmate.

Nothing beats a negative,
Than a positive.
Checkmate

And a game to know it on both sides played,
Hoping for a winner to strut away.
Like a peacock proud of feathers displayed.
Is such an old game,
These days.

People are more aware than ever before.
Checkmate.
And...
Awakened with a consciousness,
Beyond closed doors.
Checkmate.
Only those who dabble in conflicts.
Believing themselves above the rules.
Discover too late to find it found,
They were the ones to be the fools.

Up from the bottom to sit on top.
Are the ones once believed to be fools.
Checkmate!

And heads seen bowed no longer drop.
While watched by the others,
Who had laughed nonstop.
As a change in the game,
Began to stun and shock.
Blocking mouths with words to say.

Up from the bottom to sit on top.
Are the ones once played to be fools.
Checkmate!
Rising from the bottom to sit on top.
Are the ones once playing to be fools.
Checkmate.
Rising from the bottom to sit on top.
Are the ones once playing to be fools.
Checkmate!
Are the ones to say they play by the rules.

And...
Checkmate!
That's a...
Check Mate.
Made.
Checkmate!
That's a...
Check made.
Mate!
