Analysis of i dreamt about you

i dreamt about you yesterday
in between my classes
eyes closed for a brief moment
to catch up on sleep lost
from a night
that wasn’t my own currency to spend
i dreamt about you
under my arm
swaying to the beat and the rhythm
of a song neither of us knew
wrapped up in each other
and the warmth of a crowd
of strangers doing the same
i dreamt about you
solid muscle, soft skin
pink lips drawn up into a smile
eyes bright, wide, alive
black silken fabric
hanging off your small frame
i dreamt about you
the feel of a familiar body
wrapped around my own
i dreamt about you
then i woke up
