Analysis of Have I Not Seen

Markic Irena 1977 (Serbia)

Have I not seen
yielded grass green
And the sun through her golden brown hair,
Have I not swear
In the blood, shiver that revealed the night
black as my heart overcomed by eternal sadness and taste of suffering that mortals merely avoid;
Have I not seen,
the roses imprinted in your lips
creating a dream within my dream
where I still live, where I can breathe
You played me like a cello
in the breaking dawn, weeping my tears on the hollow ground
beneath your barefoot denial
Through my soul thousand deaths
where spoken
As I watched you leaving me,
through the pale white curtain of light
you never said goodbye
Have you not seen  me?!
My precious, my dearest death of all?
Have you not see into my soul,
As I held your heart with one undying thought
Have I not seen, not seen it all?
