Analysis of Semaj
Semaj Abraham 1987 (Lakewood)
Now let me tell you a little something about me.
Semaj Lashae aka Maji.
I'ma Goddess I'ma ray a spark of light.
I came here to help fight the fight.
I done been through it all I'm not ashamed of my life.
I've been to the pits of hell prostitution molestation drugs and jail.
I tried to take my own life three times to be exact.
You think anything you throw at me is going to put me on my back. The definition of resilient.
Nothing short of brilliant.
Majestic alluring and ever transforming.
I was planted deep in the darkness and from the darkness I sprung. Screaming and yelling I am goddess I am more.
Realizing the divine plan you will all hear me roar.
A teacher a speaker a finder of purpose.
I bloomed like the lotus up out of the mud.
I came here to show you that it can indeed be done.
You can heal you can feel whole and as one.
Stop fighting stop hiding there's no need to run.
If the message resonates you know you're the one.
You can come back from anything I am proof that the fight can be won.
