Analysis of First Flight

Khyati Bansal 2008 (Meerut)

When scrambled over the ramp
A sense of nervousness shook out
Fastened the seat belt of the first flight
Intrigued by the prettiness of the sight
Commands popped into my mind
Making my heart steadfast and blind

Landing gear rolled up like sleaves
And further making the structure slant
Simultaneously, learnt the real meaning of something greater
A journey of thousand miles
Begins with a single step

First I feared but wondered about it later
In the middle of air, it wobbled and daunted me
Uhh, certainly I managed to conceal my growing fear
To me, white clouds were the fridge of ice
That were shinning in the clear sky
Sunrays entered my eyes through cornea
And thus retina comes into its play

I got famishing So, my tummy burps
Beautiful lady got me sandwich and a paper boat
I enjoyed my time om my own
And laid half asleep on my seat
Eventually, the wait was over for two
I am telling this with a sigh
I wanna become pilot in life too.
