Analysis of Ronnie

10,000 dollars
I spent ten thousand dollars in 2 days
Binging
Trying to suppress rage
Inadequacy and infatuation with
Holes ditches graves
My entire being longs to be filled
Covered up in such
To fill the void
The void that is me.
30 days
When I met ronnie he was kind
He shared his cigarettes
His vape
Alexa
He shared his pain which was strange
To me
Secrets were things one couldn't see
To ronnie
Secrets bore fruit of freedom when exposed to the sun
His daughter and son
Called every morning
And every morning he set their day with good tidings and blessings
Sent them off to school with his love
They often questioned
When are you coming home
To which the answer was always
Soon
Not soon enough
Soon enough ronnie was out the door
Discharged from this highly charged environment
I spent weeks trying to contact him
Only to find In a moment
He was dead.
16 days out
41 years
A lifetime of tears
1 hole filled forever
