Analysis of The Victim's Voice

THE VICTIM'S VOICE

My anger is against the fanatics
Not with their entire race
The few whose madness exceeds the tallest tower
The few who shoved a bomb down America's face.

They say they're listening to Allah
But Christians, Jews and Muslims all know
To take a life is against G-d's will
Most of us still think so.

Osama Bin Laden said:
To kill is every Arab's obligation
We all know this is false
As we grieve with our congregation.

Why are they willing to die
And take innocent people along?
What's their evil motivation
As they sing the Devil's song?

What will the skyline be without the Towers?
What will home be without a parent?
What will be the outcome of this?
War is certainly apparent.

Now New York is a song without a tune
A pen without any ink
We all gazed in absolute shock
As we watched the towers sink.

Israel would turn to us
Whenever they were bombed
But now who shall WE turn to?
"The L-rd is our shepherd" says the psalm.

Make peace, strive for peace
That's what we want to hear
Well, when will this dream come true?
Certainly not this year!

But now we must console the victims
That is their greatest need
Tell them this won't happen again
If the victim's voice, we heed.
