Analysis of O Majestic
Leaning back on my elbows,
I close my eyes and feel the
slow roll of the evening tide.
The sand, a cool mat, supports me
as I bask in the moons soft beam.
The rush and ebb of waves,
a calming rhythm takes me away.
My mind' now absent from the craze.
How simply spoken the seas,
the waters that now brush me;
their billows massaging tired feet,
while the cadence puts my mind at ease.
O Majestic the vast deep,
the current that invites me
like the One who beckons,
"Come and See"
Refreshing, healing, somehow revealing
a wondrous mystery.
As it calls, gently pulling me.
As yet I am still intrigued!
