Analysis of Wait a...

Alliston Samuel 1976 (Port of Spain)

As far as I could run
As I watched you fly on by...
We may not grasp why:
As I flew away
Watching me run you down,
Wondering why its this way
in this forlorn town?
How did you get up
on someone grounded as myself?
Still wishing at the well?
Look at me, soaring...
Does that make one free?
Let's set sail on an adventure
Better hope we can swim
As we float away by
The vastness
Willing to take us
All in.
