Analysis of Never Had A Love Like This

Mikeniecesha Hicks 1983 (San Francisco)

Never had a love like this.
Your presence alone makes me smile.
You give me butterflies.
Gangsta but ain’t afraid to show your feelings when it comes to me.
You never left my mind since the day we meet.

Never had a love like this.
Tall, dark and handsome.
A smile that lights up the room.
Soft luscious lips.
Beautiful brown eyes.
The strength of an ox.

Never had a love like this
Love being in your arms.
The way you pick me up.
The way you lay on my stomach.
Doing it while smiling like a kid on Christmas.
I love the way you look at me.

Never had a love like this.
