Analysis of Quicksand
I know that you needed a mother's love
Quicksand
I know that you needed a father's love
Quicksand
But they chose a life without you in it
Moulding you into a child who paints mental pictures of what a family should be
For you were born only to know what rejection is
Quicksand
A child living in the reality that they created
Quicksand
A narrative that they have written, but you live in
Quicksand
Don't sink in it
But fight through it
And you'll realize that you always were worth loving
Even if they never saw it
