Analysis of life is life

kenneth burcham 1986 (indianapolis)

Life as we looked at it isn't the same as it used to be I used to be tired of playing these games but one day I woke up and I said life isn't the same I fight my shadows in the day I fight my shadows at night my shadows are my worst enemy sometimes I look in the mirror and I wonder who I'm looking at is it the same person that it used to be and then I figured life is the way it is and we can't change life one day I hope that I could find out well my life is really about one day I hope to be able to fight the shadows in my dreams I hope to fight the demons away from me one day I hope to be free from the days that the demons are fighting me the shadows upon me are trapping me in my own mind I am a prisoner of my own life but of why I don't understand why am I a prisoner in my own mind I opened my eyes and I realize life isn't the same as it used to be everyone around me is disappearing slowly but surely in my life this seems like it's just nothing but a dream so I guess this is life as we all know it
