Analysis of What If...
Hasan Johnson 1980 (Peoria Illinois)
What if somebody loved me and held me in their arms
What if somebody had given me a chance to love them, in return
What if He never died on the cross, would we still live in sin
What if where the story ends is where it's supposed to begin
Our tears our fears exposed for all to see
What's done in the dark must come to the light, so if we gain the world and lose our soul then what profit is there for you and me
Pray pray pray without cease
I'll pray for you even if you don't pray for me
What if He never left us or forsake us and just allowed us to grow
What if time was wealth and health was credit, and we really reaped what we sow
Maybe all the answers were written in a book
What if everybody opened it and took a look
