Analysis of No Other Gospel
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
I marvel that you soon desert,
Who called you in the grace of Christ;
Not even thinking to avert,
Worldly pleasures that have enticed.
You turn to another gospel,
Not that there is another one;
And distorted to the people,
How the Father gave us His Son.
Even an angel from Heaven,
And should preach that is contrary;
Let him be accursed as given,
Blasphemous not statuary.
If anyone would be preaching,
Contrary to what you believe;
Attempting falsified teaching,
Condemnation they should receive.
If I were trying to please man,
I am not a servant of Christ;
Conflicting with God and His plan,
And why Jesus was sacrificed.
