Analysis of Chasing Light

Darling,
I know you are mad.
You have every right to be.
I know you are scared.
Why wouldn't you be?
I know you feel low, helpless, hopeless, and alone.
I know sometimes you feel tired, worn out and jaded - as if this life, is not your own.

And I know, you blame yourself.

But, this is not your fault.
You did the best you could.
No one ever taught you something different - no matter how much I wish they would.

You have done better than ever imagined.
You have overcome so much.
And you are so much stronger than you seem - and still have such a gentle touch.

Don't let the familiarity of your dark keep you from chasing your light.

Just because it is new, doesn't mean it isn't right.
