Analysis of Let it begin
Aasiyah 2006 (USA)
It's running through my veins,
in slow motion, no morphine
But I'm feeling endorphins
I'm swimming, in the ocean,
with orcas, and dolphins
I'm ready to give up,
which means,
I'm ready to give in
My sins wash over,
a good life, I'm sober
From the drugs of emotions
I miss you,
what that means is
I miss you in parts
The part that I love you;
then I skip right over
The part where you broke my heart
This movie ends too fast;
This car isn't real
This music is on blast;
I don't know how I feel
I'm time travelling
I need to let it begin
And let it end as it ended
And stop the pretending
Just let it begin—
It doesn't feel like I'm healing,
but I let go of those feelings
Just let it begin—
