Analysis of Value
Aasiyah 2006 (USA)
Reality isn't what it seems,
but it's not like a mirror
Although, my life does reflect me,
at least I can't see her
Because I'm full of darkness,
even on a sunny day
You know, I kind of like it that way.
A man puts his label, and a man decides it's worth,
and a man decides what's better, and a man decides what's worse
And no man loves me beyond what he can see;
no man loves me
And that's easy to see
If I had value, this equation called life
would solve my problems,
because I would be a number
Instead of number zero,
maybe number one
Or an infinity of numbers,
just for fun
