Analysis of Running forward.
Footsteps of the past;
had been present,
along with the golden thread of sorrow;
I have always walked alone without.
Not trusting hope,
not trusting life,
not trusting everything.
This was who I was;
this was always how I have felt;
but when I walked in;
you put out your hand and said
"It's okay;
follow me and I will show you a taste of the sun"
For you took life,
and emitted it;
from the very being of your soul;
so I started chasing.
"Look at the wonder!" I thought,
but when I got to the end of the road,
where only the small rays of time remained,
you said,
"It's your turn to show someone the light;
take it and run with your life;
for it's all you will always have."
So, I took a ray and ran;
I ran as far as I could with it;
but then the ray of light I had left;
started to flicker out.
"No!" I screamed to the torrent wind;
"I don't want to be left in the dark again!;
The ray glowed;
and a string of white appeared before me;
like time it's self said;
"It will be okay;
so pick up your head;
and keep running even in the dark!"
I took it with the hope of a friend at the other end,
and kept running.
