Analysis of Septober
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Beyond all reason there is truth
This time of year, we live in booths
Beyond all reason we believe
Our faith in God won’t make us grieve
While we’re living in these tents
Every month we pay the rent
The eye sight goes the hearing too
And now its time; take off your shoes
On Holy ground we’ll walk in heaven
When we knead bread, we don’t need leaven
We do not need to make it rise
Because He already did that before our eyes
That’s why we live in confidence
The light is great in Jesus’ presence
