Analysis of Shameless Narcissist

I should never look back or think about him.                          Wasteful endeavors, where do I begin?
Much of it senseless but sometimes surreal.                    The almighty question, "How does he feel"?                                I,d search but the answer would never appear.                                I'd close in on victory, he'd lengthen the snare.                   Tired and stressed out I knew I would lose; yet, I hung in there playing afraid to refuse.          Then he'd convince me the answer was close,                     but he'd sigh there beside me timidly morose.
"How can I help you my lover my friend"?
His answer was always,"you don't understand."
"Try me," I'd plead but it sounded so lame to the narcissist man with no shame in his game.

About this poem

About a trap I was in for a very long time. I'm free now but as you will see when you read the poem, I still have some fallout from the experience
