Analysis of Dear to My Heart

I get so lost viewing the endless sparkling ocean.

The sunlit waves so soft and carefree

laying subtly on the fair surface.

A bridge that leads a perfect tulip

The warm surface of a stone as I feel it across my cheek.

The beating heart of the ocean as I listen closely.

It’s strong current continues to bring me closer.

The playful sand as I caress it through my finger tips.

When the skies are grey and the rain falls cold and heavily, I think back to this place and it warms my soul.

When my world turns black and blinding, I think back to this place and the stars light up my darkness.

I hold a song, a sweet melody, to play in the wind that carries my soul. The wind blows softly a melody dear to my heart with a love that is infinite.

Though I am lost in its divinity, I follow my heart and it leads me back to the heart of this ocean. A place that I long for and love to no end.
