Analysis of Be positive

She says to start thinking positive
and my life will change for the good
like being negative is so much fun
think positive well I would if I could.

Things are not as easy as that
she would know if she was in my shoes
but she'll never be inside my head
these feelings inside are not something I choose.

She says my writing should be more uplifting
but I write what comes from my soul
it's not like i'm a negative depressed person
but the way life has gone it's taken it's toll.

She says I cause my own karma
but I can't control what others do
other people can effect how I feel
so with the good I take the bad too.

Until you've lived someone else's life
you shouldn't tell people how to be
because you don't know what made them that way
you'll never understand or truly see.
