Analysis of What Good Am I?
I’m cute and kind and just a little shy.
For all those years, I waited, wondering why
The cute boys glanced real quick and passed me by.
What good am I if I can’t find a guy?
My fairytale of romance soon began.
I love him everyday and know I can
Still count on him to be my biggest fan.
What good am I if I don’t have my man?
His love completed me and set me free.
I lost my sight of all that makes me worthy.
He says good things and I do not agree.
What good am I if I cannot love me?
I’m sorry, self, that I abandoned you.
I realize you need my affection too.
