Analysis of The Bloodshed

I'm sick and scared,
alone and spared,
The bombing sounds
alarm me.
And oh, see! what a dreaded scene,
I just heard a grenade trigger,
there come the blazing fumes,
burning red and hot.

The sky is dusky,
those clear blues are gone,
a whiff has taken over,
landscape's peaceful dawn.

What a lovely land,
my country once used to be
the war has brought,
nothing but wrecking and weep!

I wonder, is not all this belongs to god?
the lands, the summits,
the rivers and the seas,
the heavens above are his,
and so is the breeze!
But all I can hear are these funereal sounds,
the children are being beaten, and women hound.
The blood-soaked roads,
are screeching the recitals,
Such a terrible sight is in around!

No one wins a war,
only the hatred wins,
the humanity dies,
and peace gets buried within!
a shadow of dismal,
takes over the immortal's sky,
all mourn, deeply grieve and sigh!

About this poem

Deeply despondent by the brutal events taking place in Ukraine, this piece of work is to remind people of peace and harmony. War yields nothing!
