Analysis of I am my own canvas

I have become so uniquely me that it has bled through.
You see it in the shape of my tattoos,
the scars on my knees,
the holes in my ears.
My journey is recorded in my skin.
I am both the canvas and the creator.
A piece of art never to be replicated.
