Analysis of Often

Often.
Often comes to be more reliable,
To depend upon its regularity.
Than a seldom occurrence,
Awaiting with an if to wish it.
Then becoming disappointed.
Often to allow,
Stress in our lives less wanted to invite.

Often.
We find to schedule to what we do.
Done proactively.
With an anticipating a date,
Selected and made.
Without hesitation to prioritize.
Only to realize living life,
Has changes to make on a daily basis.

And then it happens.
More often than not.
We find our good intentions,
Left to create...
Excuses to have believe are seldom.
But less convincing,
To anyone do they become.
When heard to hear them often.

'Again,
You are late.'

'I apologize.
But you won't believe why.'

'You are right.
Although I would love to hear,
Another one of your creative alibis.'

'Are you calling me a liar?'

'No.
I said you are creative.
One of the most creative people I know.
And whenever you are late,
This talent of yours speaks for itself.
Often!'

'And besides...
I am not that late.'

'You are right.
I took the liberty,
To turn my clock an hour ahead.
Leaving you close to being on time.
By...
An hour and twenty minutes.'

'Thank you for your understanding.'
