Analysis of Treasure
Dawn Bricker 1966 (Ohio)
You look around everyday,
And wonder why they couldn't stay.
They are no longer in pain,
Your love was not in vain.
There are no answers why,
Just keep an eye on the sky.
Even though they had to go,
They want you to know
they are watching over you here below.
When you see the sun,
remember together you had fun.
When you see the raindrop
know it is their teardrop,
For they want you to remember their Love,
Like a lovely dove flying above.
When you see a cloud,
It is them sleeping soft
in their beautiful loft.
When you hear the thunder, they are yelling loud,
Even though they are no longer here,
In your heart they will always be near.
When you meet again,
They will greet you with a grin.
Your life together is beyond measure
For it was full of pleasure.
Their life will always remain a Treasure.
