早到的祝福
催熟了去年的愿望
看它们破茧
飞向不回头的远方
开一坛老酒
溶解包心的忧伤
听一支新花
叙述生命的绽放

The New Year on Lunar Calendar
Injects sunshine into life.
Early arrivals of greetings,
Ripen wishes from last year.
I watch them emerging from cocoons
Flying away into distance.
Then I open jar of aged wine,
To dissolve sadness wrapping my heart,
When listening to a new blossom,
Blowing a tune of new hope.

Dejiang Fred Liu, born in Mudanjiang China, moved to Australia in 2009, is a bilingual (Chinese and English) poet who has posted many poems on social media platforms such as Facebook, WeChat and LinkedIn etc. He is starting up a small business “Marketing Poets” in Sydney Australia, intending to help other businesses market their products and services with his poetry writing and translation.
