Analysis of A Peaceful Dawn Flickers Away

It’s four in the morning and there’s a silent world around me,
Nobody’s yelling, nobody’s crying, only my thoughts on the canvas,
With each stroke of the brush flowing perfectly from one to the next,
Uninterrupted in its movement, brave in its presentation,
An expression with no oppression, a complex thought without difficulty,
A thought that comes easy like those golden thoughts caught in the wind,
An idea that binds you as a lost treasure that is found again,
Even with my half asleep eyes I still feel that I made something special,
Something that’s a part of me, something that could set me free,
Though the dawn will paint itself back into the night skies in a few hours,
I’ll smile at my comforts as they’ll be cast out to the seas of tomorrow,
As that blissful night will flicker away from my eyes.
