Analysis of The Debate I wish I have

People talk too much
Validating and invalidating ideas every single time
Forming groups, breaking bonds
Arguments here, there and everywhere

For common goal for which came too close but gets so far
Interest that matters and declining to understand the others
So close forming a whole but now creating a new divide
When we know things aren’t white and black

Opinions do matter they said
Yes, it is true on the same level
But differs from people’s power
they can invoke this, and silent the others

I once look up on someone
Someone who’s smart and a good person
Her Ideologies were identical with me
But years later drifted apart

She spoke her mind
I listen and chose to be silent
Choosing not to argue because of my pride, my ideology and status
I find her squabbling these and this

Here me out, for I tried
I find her annoying from time to time
But despite that I tried to understand
As they say, putting yourself in someone else's shoes

I tried to be one of them
Stubbornness could be seen clear in my eyes
I mocked their argument but just lend an ear
One thing I could say, they were baseless and emotional

I don’t know if it was me who was wrong
Media, Books, documentaries are there
But they said victor always write the history
Coz dead man never tells a tail

Many untold stories, Hidden and controlled
One could never know the whole truth
Only the naked news that was expose
Maybe I am wrong and they were right

To conclude, I may be right or wrong
One thing I want to say to you all
Silence buries the truth
Speak out to shovel out those soils

Because ideas never been purely right or wrong
Biases would always be there
Let debate grind it through
Synthesizing the idea accepted by all

Never letting you voice out
May choke you with regrets
Don’t be someone who want to turn back time
Because you just now know, that there is no medicine for that
