Analysis of Season
Michael Pardue 1979
Only time will tell
the story. In the ink
of spring. The rose
will bloom. With the secret
that's meant to be sung.
Only time will cry
give me the minutes,
the hours.That will make
the present into history.
With the summer of life.
Only time will hear
the rhythm of speech
In the pattern of fall.
Revealing to the heart.
Only time will hold
the chill of winter.
Just to make us close .
In season
Only time will tell.
