Analysis of Spring

Before the sunrise Bird songs ring
Heralding the rites of spring

Daffodils bloom on the berm
Frog songs from the pond confirm

The rebirth process once again
Begins the cycle without end

New calf leans on mama’s flank
Nuzzling for it’s breakfast drink

And I, within my infant soul
Rejoice in youth though I grow old.
