Analysis of Paralysed.

Songs playing on loop.
Unable to focus.
Eyes glazed over a laptop.
No thoughts.
Brain blank.
Numb.
Gin poured too strongly.
Grimace as it clings to your tongue and
holds in her throat.
Unable to move.
Legs lifeless,
Under the armed forces of blankets.
Head spins.
Mind lulls.
Water residue left on the bedside table from the cold glass.
She’ll take your thoughts to bed with her
And she’ll toss and turn
She won’t sleep
Just an empty state of consciousness
Paralysed.
