Analysis of If Only
If only you knew me,
If only it were real.
The feelings I have for you
Are greater than ever.
If only we weren’t two separate people,
Living life without knowledge of the other’s existence, Then things would be easier,
And life would be kinder.
But instead,
I’m locked up in this misery,
Wishing for a life
That’ll never come true
Because I’m alone.
