Analysis of The Ministry of Reconciliation
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
For now, no one is of the flesh,
Even though how we had known Christ;
Rather our lives did refresh,
Because Jesus was sacrificed.
You are now a new creation,
By leaving the old pass away;
Through God having your salvation,
Because you do honor and obey.
All of this is coming from God,
Who through Christ reconciled us;
To purify where we are flawed,
In holy righteousness as thus.
In Christ, God reconciled the earth,
Not counting of their trespasses;
Enabling them of a new birth,
As eternal life surfaces.
In Christ we are ambassadors,
Through us God making His appeal;
Our obedience utters,
For feeling His spiritual zeal.
For our sake Christ was made sin,
Who did not know of sin at all;
Confession has cleansed us within,
Unlike Adam who took the fall.
