Analysis of The Band

The whistle stops the action on the football field and the crowd waits,
Anticipating the movement of the uniformly dressed band and corps onto the field.
Assembled, with instruments ready for play,
the melodic notes fill the cool, crisp air.
The crowd watches as the batons cut into the sky and are caught with young hands and as the flags twirl their colors expertly,
The dedication involved is visible
As the band plays on.
