Analysis of Lost In Myself

Kelsey gamble 1991 (Scottsboro, al)

I can't breathe,  its always the darkest here.
Chest pain,  crying inside without shedding a tear.
Mental anguish,  I do this to myself.
Emptiness,  feelings of nothing else
Helpless, nobody can take this away.
Worthless; alone; torturing feelings to stay.
Self conscious, so afraid to feel the way i do.
Beyond jealous,  maybe the things people say are true.
Need help, nobody can save me.
Effort helps, no way to break free.
Wishing I could turn this around,
Tired of feeling as if I will drown.
Lost forever, inside myself, falling further into never-ending darkness.
Without light, love, company, or peace.
Oblivion mostly without the slightest relief.
Stress killing me slowly, no end in sight, battling these demons; so tired of the fight.
Can't hardly shake the feeling of giving up, I guess all I can say is wish me good luck.
Still rotting here, lost in myself.
Hoping the end will come for me, because I have nothing left.
