Analysis of THE DARK AND SAVAGE NIGHT

In the dark and savage night
Where anyone can lose their mind,
Horror stalks the evil streets
And terror follows close behind.

Where even angels die of fright
Beneath the blood-red moon,
Where life can seem so very short
Your time comes round far too soon.

Horrid wavering shadows hide
Malignancies from your sight,
And as you walk the mean streets
Death comes after you this night.

Loathsome creatures follow you
Dreadful, slinking, yowling things,
Monsters from the Writer's pen
Malevolent carnivorous beings.

Fear now is your way of life
The only way you've ever known,
Depravities now fill the streets
Following, as you head for home.

In the dark and savage night
Corruption lurches after you,
Lunging through dark alleys
Plotting heinous acts to do.

THE END
