Analysis of New Seasons

Insisting on this sour tone
Where each road seen was blocked
No outlets
Just foundations & dead ends
Until the ground gave a shake
Seasons born
And who knew?
That dead ends could scamper
At the sight of light
Even through the shifts
But with each blow of wind kissing my lips
Caressing and loving me…..
Who knew, I’d only want you.
Another dead end it seems
Tormenting myself
But I stay here & dream
& so, I stay deep asleep
And ask that you never stir me
Just sing me to sleep
