Analysis of First Know my Darkness
You hesitate, I really understand.
I too am afraid of the obscurity.
The darkness shuts my throat with its hand.
But come along, look at my nudity,
my blackest fears, irrationality.
I will explain, what caused these to arise,
and tell you things others consider lies.
Come with me then, so you will know this side,
the one that hurts, and doesn’t please your eyes.
Only after that, tell me we’re friends alright.
