Analysis of Knight Mares

It was a late and dark Halloween night
Timmy lay waiting
Looking left
And then right

Blood streamed freely
Dried on his face
Mind screaming needing
A way out of this place

Dark damp and looming
Shadowed in the night
Inviting exciting
When he had arrived

Squeaking and creaking
His journey was one
Running and leaving
They wanted no fun

He lay at the top of the staircase
Peering into the darkness below
Hearing the sounds we all know
Frozen
Frozen
In fear

The time passed slowly
As if in a dream
A inside out world
A nightmare he screamed

Screams met with silence
They were inside his head
Timmy slipped from darkness
And awoke in his bed

Nite Mares ride quickly
Taking their prey
Never forget
When to sleep you lay
