Analysis of Stay Gracious

Growing older is no mystery.
To anyone disbelieving,
A youth to live it...
Continues on without time limits.
Has an awakening that begins,
Recognizing time to spend and waste...
Ultimately ends a race,
With Mother Nature to avoid aging.
As a witness to feel and notice this,
It happens.
And seldom is the doing of it,
An event to announce,
The coming of must see attractions.
This to do,
Is a personal activity many seek to refuse.

Although,
Those who accept the inevitable,
Attempt to stay gracious and feel blessed.
To forgive yet not forget,
Every challenge to have faced...
An aging nothing can erase.
But aging with a perspective to give up.
And submit to it.
Moisturizing away its appearance,
Is as futile as a compliment solicited...
Requesting someone to guess,
The age of one who questions.

'Hmmm...let's see.
29?'

'I can't believe how close you are.'

'Me either.
Enjoy your day.'

Those aging and accept to know it,
Live!
Live to feel the best you can.
And give,
Your mind a rest.
From a past to have had digested.
Who better is more deserving than you?
And who is more deserving,
After all that you have been through.

Stay gracious.
Live.
And feel the best you can.
Who better is more deserving?
After all that you have been through.
Attempting to stay as youthful as possible.
Yet to know Mother Nature,
Will always be capable...
To identify any disguise,
Regardless of the price paid for it.

'You won't believe someone,
Guessed my age today as 29!'

'You're right.
How much did you pay,
To settle for that age.'

'I Resent that.
I didn't have to bribe anyone.
Someone asked if I had a few dollars.
And I happened to have had it!'

'I can imagine.
So...
How much did your civic duty,
Cost you this time?'

'I don't know why you think,
I am into myself like that.'

'Mysterious, isn't it?
